Tal Meirzon
CEO

Tal has more than 20 years of management experience in the fields of marketing, business development and product management. Prior to joining Wavion, Tal held various executive positions at Gilat Satellite Networks for 13 years, serving as the General Manager of Gilat’s Wireless Business Unit and before that as VP Marketing and Business Development. Tal led Gilat's expansion into new markets, and its products, selling to Carriers in the International market.

Tal holds a B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Tel Aviv University as well as an MBA in Technology Management and Marketing from the Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Mati Wax
Founder and CTO

Mati brings to Wavion more than 25 years of expertise in wireless communications, with a particular focus on smart antenna technology. He is a world leading authority on multiple antenna processing and is well recognized for his pioneering contributions to the theory and practice of this emerging field. Before founding Wavion, Mati held a number of senior positions in the wireless industry. He held a 20-year tenure at RAFAEL, where he headed the R&D in smart antenna systems for military applications. He also held the position of CTO at US Wireless where he was responsible for the R&D of its position location system.

Mati received a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the Technion and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Zeev Farkash
EVP Sales

Zeev brings over 16 years of management, sales, marketing and customer services experience in different hi-tech industries. Prior to joining Wavion, Zeev worked for ioimage Ltd, a world leading manufacturer of intelligent video devices for the HLS market, initially as VP Sales and Customer Services and later was appointed to the company’s CEO. During this period the company gained global leadership achieving significant business growth. Prior to that Zeev held various managerial positions in global companies such as NICE and Applied Materials.

Zeev holds a B. Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Tel Aviv University.

Ulik Broida
VP Marketing & Customer Services

Ulik brings over 15 years of Product Management, Customer Services and Business Development expertise in the hi-tech industries, focusing on Telecom markets. Prior to joining Wavion, Ulik served as Vice President of Product Management & Professional Services in NICE Systems Video Business Unit, and before that Ulik held senior managerial positions in Israeli Telecom companies Alvarion and ECI Telecom.

Ulik holds a BSC degree in Electrical Engineering from the Haifa Technion and an MBA from the Tel Aviv University.

Adi Sapir (CPA)
CFO

Adi brings to Wavion a vast experience in leading companies through growth, complex restructurings, international expansion and capital markets transactions. Adi is a certified public accountant with over 16 years of financial management experience including: strategic planning, IPO, mergers and acquisitions, budget planning and control, treasury and accounting, as well as US securities law compliance issues. Prior to Wavion, Adi was a CFO at Rostam, a manufacturer of high quality national brand equivalent feminine hygiene products. Before that Adi was a CFO at Allot Communications (NASDAQ: ALLT) a leading designer and developer of broadband service optimization solutions.

Adi holds a B.A in Accounting and Economy from the Tel Aviv University.

Ruby Tweg
Co-founder and Vice President R&D

Ruby has more than 20 years of Engineering Management and R&D experience in wireless communications, algorithms development, hardware, software and RF design. Prior to founding Wavion Ruby has worked for many years in RAFAEL and led the development of several smart antenna based communication and EW systems.


Ruby holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Technion in Haifa, Israel.
